Ozark Guidance

Mental Heathcare for All of Northwest Arkansas

Ozark Guidance Center

For over 35 years, Ozark Guidance has helped tens of thousands of people -- children, adults, and families, live better lives by providing them with quality mental healthcare services. Ozark Guidance is a private, non-profit community mental health center committed to providing affordable, high-quality services to meet individual, family and community needs for better mental health.

Founded in 1970, Ozark Guidance has a volunteer board of directors that is responsible for the overall direction of Ozark Guidance with David L. Williams, Ph.D., as President and CEO. All treatment at Ozark Guidance takes place under the supervision of a staff of psychiatrists including Dr. Travis W. Jenkins, Chief Medical Officer. Ozark Guidance received accreditation with commendation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Offering a continuum of mental healthcare for children, families and adults and programs for businesses, Ozark Guidance understands there is no more important relationship than that between the patient and the therapist. Clinicians strive to provide the least restrictive care for adults and children. They offer individual and family therapy, an accredited school program for children, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation classes for adults. When necessary, Ozark Guidance provides medication management, and residential treatment for children. Ozark Guidance is available by phone to clients in crisis 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Ozark Guidance serves Benton, Carroll, Madison and Washington counties with facilities in Bentonville, Berryville, Huntsville, Siloam Springs and its flagship campus in Springdale.
